Witch, Please — Clean That Up

October’s messy in disguise. Between the pumpkin guts, the costume glitter, and whatever that sticky spot on the counter is (don’t ask), your house deserves a fall refresh.
Start with your entryway—muddy shoes, wet leaves, and dog hair have made it their new hangout spot. Shake out mats, mop the floor, and retire the flip-flop pile.
Next, deep clean your kitchen. Baking season’s coming, so wipe down your oven door, degrease cabinet fronts, and check the back of your fridge for any summer science experiments.
Then tackle your blankets and throws. They’ve been hiding in a closet since March, and trust me—they smell like it. A quick wash with a warm-scented detergent instantly makes your space cozier (and less musty).
Finally, look up—no, not at the ceiling fan this time. Clean your light fixtures and replace dim bulbs before those longer nights hit. It’s a tiny thing that makes your space feel bright instead of haunted.
October cleaning doesn’t have to be scary. Just a little maintenance magic before the holidays hit full force.
