Window Air Conditioner Filters
How Often:
Every 2–4 weeks during use
Cleaning Steps:
• Unplug the unit.
• Open the front panel and remove the filter.
• Vacuum dust with a soft brush attachment.
• Wash with warm, soapy water.
• Rinse thoroughly.
• Let air dry completely.
• Reinstall filter and close panel.
• Wipe down exterior grill.
Replace if: Torn, brittle, or warped.

Central AC / HVAC Filters
How Often: Every 1–3 months
For Disposable Filters:
• Remove and replace.
• Make sure airflow direction matches arrow on frame.
For Washable Electrostatic Filters:
• Turn off system power.
• Remove filter.
• Vacuum both sides.
• Rinse with hose or under sink.
• Let air dry flat.
• Reinstall once fully dry.

Pre-Filters (Washable)
How Often: Every 2–4 weeks
• Remove pre-filter.
• Vacuum surface dust.
• Wash with warm, soapy water (if allowed).
• Rinse thoroughly.
• Air dry completely.
